I have played WFRP since the first edition. This is NOT WFRP. This IS crap. Making money is not the measure of a good game folks. Lots of simple people like shiny colorful objects. I am just sad that the real WFRP will no longer be supported. I sad day indeed.

Huh, while it is hard to argue the business sense of this since if DnD 4e is really doing well then there is no reason for them not to cash in on free money….. still a bloody shame though lobotomizing the system and removing any character deep.

For those who doubt 4th ed. is selling well I think this nails it down pretty well. When someone is copying your concept it’s usually not because it’s a business failure.

I have my 1st ed WHFRP GW rulebook. Works just fine, and has naked dwarves and all.

well, I’ll be the first to say it. Fuck yea! I also enjoyed wfrp, but this sounds very exciting. If its a combo of dnd4e and wfrp, but with dice pools I’m all in.

That sounds pretty bad. It’s seems FFG is totally out of its mind. And I don’t know what they want to accomplish by turning WFRP into a second D&D 4E. It’s a shame, WFRP was one of my favorite RPGs. *sigh*
