Date My Avatar
Come on and share a potion with me
A couple of days ago the interwebs seemed to be hit by a new Felicia Day lead phenomenon, Do You Wanna Date my Avatar? Felicia, along with her Guild co-stars, released to the public a music video of the song written by her and Jed Whedon (of Dr Horrible fame). More on the process behind making it here. On the same day #datemyavatar was one of Twitter’s trending topics and has remained there (though looking just now trending topics seems to have wandered off…)
It is, with out a doubt, funny. It’s also catchy as hell and the video pokes fun at both the MMO scene, their own show and music videos in general. Watch it, buy it off iTunes if you like it (currently the top selling video there) and watch The Guild.
